Fanlistings

As said by TFL, "a fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country."

Tokito Ami

Ami is a Japanese gravure idol (pin-up girl) who made her debut in early summer 2005. She was a winner of Miss Magazine 2005, an annual contest for new faces in gravure. Ami won the special "Tsunku" award, an assumingly-one time award presented by Tsunku, famous for creating and producing the many acts in Hello! Project. She has since released a handful of DVDs and a photobook named "Kimajime". In December of 2005, Ami released her first mini-album full of Japanese pop. She has continued to release music on a steady basis, with her second mini-album in March 2006 and first single in April. Her first single, "Sentimental Generation", was used as the opening theme to the anime "School Rumble Nigakki". (Its b-side was used as the ending theme.)
Ami's music career continued well into 2006 and 2007, and in 2007 she became part of the group Gyaruru with Abe Asami and Gal Sone Natsuko. (Former-Morning Musume member Tsuji Nozomi was to be in the group until it was announced she was pregnant; Abe Asami then replaced her.)
Ami is known as a "meganekko idol", or "megadol" because of the glasses she wears. Because of this she continues to gain more fans who find glasses attractive and unique with idols. Ami's eyesight isn't actually too bad, but it can be assumed she does wear glasses occasionally while not in front of the camera due to her 1.5 eyesight.
Ami's nicknames are "Amitan" and "Aminii", which you may see used around the site. For more bits of information such as this and more on Ami's life before becoming a gravure idol, visit her Wiki profile (written by me).
