"Azumi" is a Japanese film that was released in 2003. It was adapted from the manga of the same title. "Azumi" tells the story of Azumi, the only girl among a group of ten orphans who are unknowingly being trained to become future assassins of Japan's biggest warlords. It was directed by Kitamura Ryuhei and had a wide range of actors and actresses, including Ueto Aya, Oguri Shun, Narimiya Hiroki, Kohashi Kenji, Okamoto Aya, Odagiri Joe and more.
The film ended with a cliffhanger and a sequel was released in 2005 with Ueto Aya reprising her role as Azumi.
