As said by TFL, "a fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country."
Kodomo no Omocha (called "Kodocha" for short), or "Child's Toy", is a Japanese anime and manga series by Obana Miho. It follows hyperactive 12-year-old Kurata Sana's life as a child star, her friends, and her confrontations with Hayama Akito, a devious classmate who secretly likes Sana. The two are followed throughout the series all the way to junior high. It's such a great series and I think it's really hard to summarize the craziness and romantic bits of it! (>_<;)
The manga was serialized in the magazine Ribon and ran for 10 volumes. The anime ran from early April 1996 to late March 1998, ending with 102 episodes and one additional OAV.
Pop culture is often played upon by words in the series; for instance, hit singer Amuro Namie is referenced to as Namuro Amie, the boy band SMAP is parodied as SNYAP and one of their members, Kimura Takuya, makes an appearance as Kimuchi Takuya. Shinohara Tomoe herself even appears in a later episode of the series.
