Undoubtedly one of the most popular gravure idols (pin-up girls) in Japan, Yuko started out as a random talent on various television shows. In 2002 she made her debut as a gravure idol and earned the nickname "Yukorin". She is well-known among most fans for her young looks and nasally voice, though it is rumored to be a facade. In 2004, she made her debut as a singer even though she had released a single in 2002 for a radio show theme song. She released two singles before getting an album, and finally one single came after that. Yuko continues to be a shining star in Japan, acting in commercials and idol videos, and it doesn't look like she's leaving the spotlight anytime soon.
